Reference Agents

Reference agents are Quatrion starting patterns. They are designed to help teams triage review questions quickly, not to replace engineer judgment, specialist solvers, formal compliance checks, or release sign-off.

How to read a reference agent

Each reference agent has a bounded question, a defined input set, an evidence output, and an explicit non-replacement boundary. During early access, teams typically start with one reference agent and one assembly.

Common inputs

Encoded assembly.
Review-specific specification or target zone.
Optional tolerance, load, material, manufacturing, occupant, or packaging context.
Deployment-approved tool chain and provider configuration.

Agent catalog

These agents are reference patterns for first-pass design-review triage. They return evidence for engineering review; they are not final validation tools.

Dimensional tolerance verification

Question: Which assembly joints exceed specified geometric tolerance?
Inputs: Encoded assembly; Tolerance specification; Target joints or zones
Evidence: Joint or interface reference; Measurement; Tolerance status; Run provenance
Useful for: Finding candidate tolerance issues before a formal dimensional review.
Does not replace: CMM inspection, GD&T authority, lab measurement, or release approval.

Stamping / forming risk

Question: Which panels or regions may be at higher forming risk?
Inputs: Encoded assembly; Panel geometry; Material and process context when available
Evidence: Panel or region reference; Risk finding; Geometry basis; Recommended follow-up
Useful for: Prioritizing panels for manufacturing engineering review.
Does not replace: Forming simulation, die tryout, material validation, or process sign-off.

NVH frequency screen

Question: Which parts or panels should be reviewed for NVH risk bands?
Inputs: Encoded assembly; Target frequency bands; Relevant part or zone selection
Evidence: Part reference; Screening result; Review band; Provenance
Useful for: Selecting candidates for deeper NVH analysis.
Does not replace: Modal test, acoustic simulation, solver validation, or program sign-off.

Panel buckling / stiffness

Question: Which panels show low stiffness or buckling susceptibility?

Evidence: Panel reference; Susceptibility finding; Geometry-linked explanation; Suggested follow-up
Useful for: Prioritizing panels for FEA or design review.

Class-A continuity

Question: Where do visible surfaces or panel boundaries require continuity review?

Evidence: Surface reference; Boundary reference; Continuity classification; Visual overlay
Useful for: Screening exterior and visible surfaces for review candidates.
Does not replace: Studio surfacing approval, CAD master review, or optical-quality inspection.

Head impact zone

Question: Which interior zones should be reviewed for head-impact exposure?

Useful for: Early safety-zone screening and prioritization.

Pillar vision obstruction
